Semi-toothless grin

It is official we have finally lost a tooth. In my eyes it is way to soon to be worrying about missing teeth. She just isn't old enough yet. Well I guess I am still in denial that my baby is growing up and has just lost her first tooth. She has been working on that bad boy for weeks but it finally lost the battle earlier today. We had a little scare when the sister threw the tooth in the garbage, but no worries mom swooped in and saved the day after going through the entire garbage can
(luckily I had just taken in out and there was minimal garbage in it.)To no avail the tooth was not in the garbage can. I looked in the pouch that was housing the tooth for safe keeping and lo and behold there is the missing tooth safe and sound waiting in it's toothfairy pouch. She is tickled pink that she can now walk around semi-toothless because you see the permanent tooth broke through the skin weeks ago it is just so far back that the baby one just wasn't much affected. Hopefully things will all straighten out in the end. We wish her luck this night as she axiously awaits the toothfairy!

North Carolina Trip

My family and I recently went to NC for my brother Kyle's wedding. We had so much fun other than an enourmous layover in Chicago. We also took a qiuck daytrip to an aquarium and the beach. We spent an hour at Fort Macon that was really cool. It was a fast trip and we only got lost once or twice thank heavens for GPS!

Gingerbread Houses!

It is a tradition with Tyler's grandma to have all the grand kids come up to her house and decorate gingerbread houses. The kids always have so much fun. I thought that Savannah would have more interest in eating the candy than putting it on the house but she actually did really well. Of course Sydnee loved it she was having so much fun decorating her house all by her self, because you no she is a big girl now. As I am reminded so kindly by her almost daily. I don't think that she should be growing up just yet. I don't think that I am quite ready.

OUCH!

We have officially had are first incident that needed stitches. Poor Savannah was over at the neighbors house while Tyler was out back helping Cody (the neighbor). Savannah was in the house with Stacy. Savannah loves to run, she was running around the house with her shirt over her head and of course she fell down and cracked her head open on the fireplace. I of course was at work when I get a call from my husband letting me no he is on the way with Savannah because she is in need of a few stitches. She was so amazing! She just sat there and let me hold her while the Dr. stitched her up 3 stitches in all. She was such a little trooper. We came home and bathed her that night to wash all the blood out and when I started to comb her hair more hair came out that was normal. Upon closer inspection it appeared as thought whatever she cut her head on cut her hair to. She is doing so awesome she hasn't complained once that her head hurts.

Birthday Girl!

Savy is 2! I can't believe that it has already been two years since Savannah was born. She was such a cheeser. She loved all of her gifts. She was so nice to thank everyone, and give them a super cure smile. I winged it with her cake this year. i was going to make her a Dora the Explorer cake but Tyler accidentaly took of with it to work. Oh well it still turned out pretty cute.

Lake Powell

Powell was so much fun this year. I couldn't get Syd out of the water, and I couldn't keep Savy in it. Savannah didn't much care for the cold water. She loved being outside in the sand and on the ski boat. Luckily this year we didn't have any sick kids.
Sydnee is becoming such a good swimmer of course always with a life jacket on. She preferred being in the water with her cousin Brinley. She also loved playing in the sand with her sister. I loved just getting a tan and spending sometime with my family. We went on so many beautiful hikes and saw some amazing scenery. What a blast!

Lions, Tigers and Bears OH MY!

As you can tell Syd and I went to the zoo with 70 other kindergartners. I tell you what you haven't lived until you have spent an hour and a half on a bus with 71 5 year olds. What an adventure. We had a wonderful time it snowed most of the time but we still had a blast. Syd's favorite animal was the Bighorn mountain goat. Sadly I decided to leave the baby at home since I would be looking after other children as well. I can't wait to go with Savannah, Syd and Ty hopefully this summer.
