OUCH!

We have officially had are first incident that needed stitches. Poor Savannah was over at the neighbors house while Tyler was out back helping Cody (the neighbor). Savannah was in the house with Stacy. Savannah loves to run, she was running around the house with her shirt over her head and of course she fell down and cracked her head open on the fireplace. I of course was at work when I get a call from my husband letting me no he is on the way with Savannah because she is in need of a few stitches. She was so amazing! She just sat there and let me hold her while the Dr. stitched her up 3 stitches in all. She was such a little trooper. We came home and bathed her that night to wash all the blood out and when I started to comb her hair more hair came out that was normal. Upon closer inspection it appeared as thought whatever she cut her head on cut her hair to. She is doing so awesome she hasn't complained once that her head hurts.

Oh no!!! So sad, that's so good that she let the Dr do her thing. What a big girl! Where you freaking out to see her head? I can't stand the sight of blood so as soon as I saw that pic I had to put my head down for a min.... I suck at the sight of blood and that kind of things. I just hope that when any of our kids get hurt to where there is blood I'm not around. If I am I'll probably be passed out on the floor somewhere. Lol. Well beside the 3 stitches good to hear from you guys :0)

Oh no, that really looks painful. Were you at the hospital he had to take her to? Cayten is nearly 3 and crazy enough, we haven't had to take him in for anything . . . knock on wood!

Grandma's little girl! It sure didn't slow her down any - as evidenced by Sunday. She seems to have a similar disposition to Jocelyn. Roll with the punches, not too much bothers her. Way to go Savannah!! Isn't it funny how this type of thing always happens when mom is at work! Just to make us feel guilty. Dads would never think "if only I had been there, this might not have happened!" Why is that!
